Will fit a 2017 Ram 2500. Not difficult to do at all. One thing I would do differently is when drilling holes for the breakaway chain U-bolts, I use an 11/16 bit from the bottom first as this will help ensure you are centered. Once you've managed to make a mark, run the pilot jet (1/4 inch) all the way through the bed. Coming from above will help ensure your 11/16 are right where they should be. Once you drill a 3 1/4 hole in the center collect all the chips as well. Vacuum every hole as you go. Easy to install and I don't have an elevator. With the tires, heat shield and muffler removed, you have plenty of room to work. I can sit under it and I'm 6ft 2in tall. The torque for the 4 large bolts is 210 ft-lbs so make sure you have the correct torque wrench.
