The DisplayPort interface is behaving very strangely on the 2019 MacBook Pro. When the laptop lid is open, this docking station can drive a 60 Hz DisplayPort display. With the lid closed, the frequency inexplicably and unacceptably drops to 24Hz. I'm not sure why the lid-closed performance is worse, but this dock doesn't seem to have a problem passing 60Hz through the HDMI port. This uses a 2k display.
