I have an 8 year old dog who is fully potty trained until my son 'forgets' to take him for a walk. He gets angry when they ignore him, so he leaves gifts for them in their rooms. It's actually pretty funny until I have to put it down. 🙄 He also started having stomach problems and vomiting on the carpet. He will literally stand on hardwood and run to the nearest carpet to throw up. 😩 I swear I've tried everything from big stores, pet stores and every home remedy. Some work better than others, but none can completely remove the stain and odor. They appear to remove the stain you can visually see, but never go deep enough to completely remove the stain. Others appear to deodorize or mask the smell but don't actually remove it. I spoke to his hairstylist the other day and she told me about this product. I decided to give it a try as the price didn't break the bank and I could return it if that didn't work. Well let me tell you I will not be returning this and will definitely be taking more. This is the most effective stain remover I have found. I didn't know it came with bonuses when I ordered it so I was thrilled when I opened the package. The little black light is SO cool and really works. I used it in one of the boys rooms and I swear it looked like a crime scene in the corner. JUK! The worst thing is that I only cleaned all the carpets 3 weeks ago. How the hell was all that?!? I assumed everything was perfectly clean since his room didn't smell, but I was wrong. It was obvious that the other cleaners had not reached the stains and the carpet underlay. I tried it on old stains and after 3 uses they were completely gone. For stubborn stains, be sure to rinse the area so it is fully absorbed through the carpet into the carpet. Also allow the carpet to dry completely for at least 2 days between uses as the enzymes will continue to work to remove the urine. I have no idea what it is, but they're not lying when they say the bio-enzymatic formula "eats" organic matter. Since it was in a corner, after the 3rd use I lifted the corner a little to test the mat. I was shocked when I used the black light and it stopped picking up the spots. The spray has a lavender scent but is very light and subtle. I haven't used it on anything other than carpet so can't confirm other surfaces but it's a marvel on carpet. I'm glad my hairdresser told me about it and I'm sure she'll have more tips the next time I bring it to her.
