Increased oil pressure from 22psi to 38-40psi at idle on a 2004 Tahoe 4.8L. I replaced the oil pressure sensor earlier. This solved the problem. The oil intake pipe no longer sucks in air and reduces the pressure. Recommend a new gasket and a manufacturer of Permatex gaskets on the 4 corners of the gasket where it connects to the block.
