I needed a power strip with good surge protection for a very tight space. The first one I ordered didn't fit because there was a hidden obstruction less than a tenth of an inch preventing the strip from fitting. Luckily I had another use for this strip elsewhere. In my rush to order another strip, I didn't realize that the socket orientation was wrong for my needs. But like porridge for a bear cub, this strip was spot on. It even has the best surge protection and is made by a manufacturer I trust a lot. I didn't order it at first because I wanted a flat plug and prefer a shorter cable. Luckily I had enough room for the coiled cord and enough clearance that that straight plug barely got into the outlet, which was also in a tight spot.
