I've tried many wheel brushes over the years, starting with the Speed Master, a very aggressive brush that you have to be careful with (it can damage the paint on the rims) . easy). I switched to the Wheel Woolie because of this, the problem with this is that it's too compact for your head and you have to get in and out quickly to get the same running depth as the Speed Master. Also, it falls apart very quickly. This one combines both and adds a soft grip with important joint protection. I love that I can get really deep with minimal effort and that I can wrap myself around the spokes with the ankle guard to be right behind them to avoid touching the rim. And even when I touch the rim, it's a plastic construction, unlike the Speed Master, which has a metal core. I am very impressed with the quality and this is the perfect tool for any wheelhouse cleaning enthusiast!
