as well as my first WW scale, I've been using it since April 2019. more times than I can count. They turn off when I enter. about 90%. I'm in a wheelchair, it's hard to stand. that basically makes it unsafe and unusable, sorry, good scale, great price. I guess they don't do things like they used to :(
