Today I realized that a flashlight is your best friend! Point it at the screen and you can see all the tiny flaws that would otherwise be invisible. I don't think my screen has ever been so clear, what a revelation! Especially handy if you're playing around with plastic protection, but honestly if you're undecided between glass and plastic, glass is the way to go. Much easier to stack (and transfer!), hassle free, more stable and it doesn't affect the quality of your screen. The only reason to use plastic is if you want a matte finish and/or really struggle with glare. My laptop used to have plastic and it was long overdue for a replacement. I used to use plastic, but last year I tried glass on my phone and it worked so well I knew my next laptop screen protector had to be glass. Unfortunately the edges of my screen seem to be a bit damaged due to my less than ideal placement of the old screen protector. As a result, this new glass is not 100% exactly in a corner. But! Glass can smooth out such imperfections, and fortunately I can barely see it. The rest is absolutely smooth, only two bubbles slipped out slightly. Unlike my plastic which had two annoying blisters despite my best efforts. My screen now looks great except my fingerprints are pretty much visible. Not sure if it's because it's glass because it's new or both lol. The included micro cloth is a good size and will come in handy for future screen cloths! The packaging that this company uses is very good. Instructions are on the back if you need them. However, I didn't have the second tab (or film?) as intended. I put it on anyway, and if the second film is even there, it doesn't seem to affect the touchscreen. Not sure I like the smoother feel so I could have gotten a matte plastic tread to go over it but I definitely don't regret getting it! I will update if necessary (otherwise I am still wrapped in glass) The glass is excellent. This is my third time and it's a lot lighter than plastic. looks better too, although it has more highlights/reflections if that's your concern. But seriously, a flashlight! use it! super helpful! Spread it! I'm sure others have already found this trick, but more needs to be known! To really see how much it helps, wipe it off as best you can, then shine it on a light, and bam, you'll see where those mystery bubbles keep coming from! Much luck! Be patient but confident!
