The sides of the lid cracked after a few weeks of use. I will be switching to another brand soon. Too bad I didn't read the description in more detail than I should have. This lid can only be used with some of my dishes. I can't use it with almost all of my bowls as the lid is only 2.5 inches high. I can't use it with most of my cymbals as they are over 9.5 inches in diameter. Also, my microwave sits over the oven and I can't see the finger holes when I remove this lid. Even if I could, I don't like finger holes because I feel like I don't have a secure grip on the lid. I will buy another brand and read the descriptions more carefully.
