The concept of these cables is great. Very easy connection, free OBD port and parking mode for Thinkware cameras. The only problem is that this particular cable does not work with the Thinkware X1000. Parking mode is random, sometimes it takes several hours to switch from recording mode to parking mode. The camera will then turn on again (when the machine is turned off). After working with Thinkware Technical Support, they discovered that while this cable is not compatible with the X1000, Thinkware's default OBD cable (the one without the splitter). They were kind enough to send me one and I can confirm it works great. If you don't have X1000, please buy this cable. If you have an X1000, use a regular OBD cable.
