When I took this product out of the box I was really pleased. It has a beautiful look and color. It would have been nice if our little pup didn't get into places we didn't want him and he could be easily moved to the side if needed. We put it in a doorway and it worked fine for a couple of days. The gussets were beginning to unravel, and it was evident that a wooden peg and small screw holding them together wasn't enough. Even when standing still, the plates begin to unravel. We haven't even used it for a month and it needs repairs in several places to be useful again. Gates are delivered fully assembled from the factory. If you decide to do this one, make sure you have some wood glue. You will need it.
