At first I thought it would make noises or play music which annoys me like no other but I figured I could manage to do it but thankfully it really just has a very calm soothing sheen that changes color when you shake it a bit, it's super soft and soft and our little one really loves to chew on it even though he is is not a child. I bought this to keep him in his diaper bag to keep him entertained while he changes and hoping he will also stop chewing on my keychain when he is teething, he seems to be doing what he enjoys doing.
