Well, first off, this isn't a hit to Red Sea's version of the Aiptasia Killer. I say "Red Sea version" because they are usually the same. lime water. Just check your PH and ALK after use and you'll see what I'm talking about. The problem with using this substance to kill Aiptasia is that you have to kill every last part of the anemone. If you miss even a tiny bit of foot, it will inevitably come back. And if you're lucky enough to leave a few pieces, then guess what. Your 1 aiptasia became 2, 3, 4 etc. I started with a few tiny ones. I dosed this stuff and of course they all went away for a week or two and then came back with a vengeance. Eventually I got to the point where I seriously considered breaking the shell to get rid of them. The solution for me was Bergia nudibranch. I ordered for about $100 and in 2-3 months they cleared my aiptasia. There is literally no aiptasia in any spot that I can see in my aquarium. This is (originally) the more expensive route, but I don't think there's anything that even remotely approaches Nudie efficiency. Again, don't knock on the Red Sea. I've also used Aiptasia RX and regular Kalkwasser and they were all equally ineffective.
