I have bought many beds that my dog ruined before I bought her a 'dog bed'. I've had good luck with every previous bed if it lasted just a few months. I've had this bed for about 6 years now and about every 2 years I've only replaced the outer cover because it's holding up. She obviously likes the bed very much as I often see her going into her open drawer to lie down on the bed and sometimes staying on it for long periods of time to take a nap or just sit on it and watch everything that goes on going on around her.
