I bought this part for my 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, passenger side liftgate. The old window grille came off with no problems. The new one went in with no problems. The only little thing was that in the upper left part there is a threaded bolt, which is only a few turns long. When I lowered the window the bolt pulled out my speaker wire so I had to do a simple wire repair and make sure any loose wires for the speaker and window motor were hidden and secured. *** Make sure your window is taped shut so it doesn't slide into an empty doorway. ***** Aside from the bolt issue, this item works very well and is easy to install and I recommend it.
