Review on 🚰 Efficient Filling Funnel for EPAuto Radiator Coolant System by Klassic Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great funnel for the price

If you have a car that is having problems with cooling system burping, click Buy Now. We have a 2006 Subaru Outback LL Bean with a flat six engine. They're notoriously hard to burp when changing coolant and thermostat. Reading the forums, they recommended one of them. We flushed and refilled coolant and water. Tip: put the front of the car on the ramps if you have them. Folding up the car helps. The advantage of a funnel is that not only is the content easier to pour out, but the water surface can also check for bubbles. It also prevents air from being drawn back into the system. We were having a horrible time in the outback when he burped. The machine got hot, the fans started screeching, and I turned it off and let it sit for a few minutes. Did this about three times. An indication that it's not working, the lower radiator hose stays cold. Then I finally started the engine and ran it at about 2500rpm for a few minutes and I saw some bubbles and steam and also felt for the radiator hose which was now hot. The thermostat opened and let air in. We let it run for another ten minutes and watched for the dreaded head gasket blisters, but soon all blisters stopped and the car sat idling at 185 degrees with the air conditioning on. Unfortunately, the car still gets hot when you drive it fast. Not sure what's going on.
