I recently updated my skincare routine - in fact, I created one. I don't wear face makeup, so I never thought about other things. This year I had a very stressful job and suddenly BAM: red spots, dry skin, pimples and bags under the eyes for several days. I started my search for solutions, like most people, at a department store and bought a cleanser, a moisturizer and an alcohol-free toner. I think they were ok but the problems persisted and I knew it was time to really up my game. I started with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and retinol serums. Immediate change. But I still had pimples on my chin, and after enjoying my nightly routine, I still felt a little greasy going to bed, which is weird because I have African American/Irish/Cherokee combination skin and tend to be dry . I realized that my department store's products might not be of the quality I needed. After seeing this toner and the reviews I gave it a try. First: smell. Oh my god the smell. It's paradise. I was worried the witch hazel would be too strong, but no - it smells great and feels so good on my skin. And my pores looked better straight away, which makes me feel like it's working with my serums, not against them. I woke up this morning and all my little bumps on my chin decided to go camping. I'm in love. My only downside is how much liquid is in the bottle and dispenser - it pours out quickly which is wasteful. I just unscrew the top and twist it onto a cotton pad like I did with my old one. Basically, do yourself a favor and get it. Damn it, just for the smell. I could almost drink it. But seriously, don't. That's not how you get a taut stomach.
