For years I struggled with jars that I couldn't open. This is especially true for cans with a very strong vacuum seal. Thanks to this tool, over-tight mason jar lids are a thing of the past in my house. Just place it on top of the lid, hold it until it snaps onto the jar, and... bang! ... the jar is open. I am very happy to have found this device. This is my highest recommendation.
