These are a must for comfort!
The smell was exactly as most feather pillows have. It does go away after a proper wash and dry and a day to air out. However, its inoffensive, so you could use it immediately. The cover that is provided is great, but after a few weeks of use, it has a few feathers poke through. This pillow is fantastic otherwise, honestly the best pillow I've ever had and it reminds me of comfort I've only experienced as a child
