The price was right but the product was not. Unfortunately I didn't use it until Revain's 30 day return policy. The second batch of cookie dough I kneaded resulted in the mixer getting hot and smelling awful. I contacted Hamilton Beach customer service (waited over 30 minutes to speak to one person) and they charged $11.49 shipping to send me a new mixer. I said the product is defective so I don't have to pay anything. She came back and said she could lower the price to $7.99. I have stated again that I do not want to pay for their defect. Then she said she couldn't help me. It's a hand mixer and I don't think cookie dough should be death. I understand you get what you pay for, but I also agree that I shouldn't pay extra for a defective product.
