I bought this to use on an M1 based Mac and it works in OBS without the need to install any additional software. It was used to record PS5 videos in 4K 60fps for streaming on Twitch at 720p 60fps with no issues. Various accessories are included in the box, including an HDMI cable and two different USB-C cables to connect to your computer. One USB-C to USB-C and the other USB-A to USB-C. Unfortunately I had to send this unit back as it does not tone map HDR recordings. I tried using the LUX file in OBS to fix this but you had one color correction per game and it still wasn't enough when games might be too dark/light or colors not displaying properly. Since I have an HDR TV, I had to either disable HDR entirely or try to correct their color. in the OBS. Instead, I decided to use another capture card that I saw on YouTube that does the HDR tone mapping on the capture card itself without using any additional software or OBS settings. It is also a UVC capture card that works without drivers for Windows, Mac and Linux. This other capture card provides firmware updates and additional software for customizing the device's sound settings. If you don't care about HDR, this card is ideal for the PS5 and XBOX series. Consoles to skip 4K 60 fps and record up to 4K 30 fps. It is cheaper than other brands that also offer similar features.
