This is a very handy gadget for your old TV. I saved a lot of money compared to buying a brand new TV. Old TVs can now be connected to Apple TV, Roku, Cable, etc. Save money, protect the environment. Very easy to connect if you have RCA/AV cables (red, white, yellow). Picture and sound without problems. The installation guide is also very good and includes troubleshooting issues with cables and connectors. Since then I've only had one instance where something stopped communicating. I tried the switch, unplugged the audio cables from the TV and adapter, blew out a Nintendo to clear the dust, plugged it back in, restarted the Roku, and I was able to enjoy shows and movies on my old flat-screen digital TV again. I don't blame the adapter as we all know that electronics sometimes just need a refresh and some TLC. One last thing, I suggest laying the adapter on a surface horizontally or on its side, don't let it hang. Risks weigh on ports and pins.
