Review on PLA1 75mm Biodegradable Consumables: Tangle-Free and Dimensionally Efficient by Maalik Harris

Likes hot, changes fast, it's not

It's like regular PLA in every way, except for the fact that it requires slightly higher hot-end temperatures than I'm used to . As you can see the makeshift turret went down to 180 but then missed the range. From 210 onwards the layers started to lose adhesion so I'm going with 212-216 from now on which is a good 10 degrees more than usual. It also worked as expected with my general PLA settings. Unless you're looking at a huge print (I mean gigantic), you'll see minimal color changes here. You can see the three prints I made and probably twice as much purple lavender before going all the way to orange. A total of 6 colors per spool in 7 layers. Even those who appreciate the smooth, even winding on the spool will be severely disappointed here. This is probably the worst wound thread I've ever seen. It worked flawlessly, so there weren't any usability issues for me, but it certainly lacked a premium look and feel. Some will feel different. Arrived with a broken vacuum seal, which is easy with 50% of all filament I buy. Has a genuine Creality address in China so this appears to be a genuine item. Like all threads, this requires dialing in, but then it seems to work fine. Competitively priced and from a reputable manufacturer, most will consider this a safe buy. Without vacuum packaging, extremely slow color change and poor presentation quality, I give it 3 stars for myself. If you found this helpful, please click "helpful". Many Thanks.
