In spite of the fact that all of the screws were securely screwed in, the back wall cracked rather noisily while it was being used. I spent a lot of time trying to determine where the cod came from, but I was unsuccessful. Because of this, I had to take the rear wall off by myself, and then I had to unscrew the engine from the wall where it was attached. It was determined that the engine knocks on the rear wall while it is operating, which was the cause of the cracking sound. I solved the issue by positioning a thick paper gasket between the engine and the back wall of the dehydrator. This allowed air to flow freely between the two spaces. I am pretty sure that the issue with this model, which I have read creates an extremely loud noise for someone else, is the same issue that I am having. In a typical product, this behavior would not be expected to occur.
