My kids love McD's fries! I got this because I always felt guilty about asking the staff for a second bag to catch the fallen fries and minimize the mess. I usually put each child's fries in a separate bag, cut the bag open at the fold, and make a makeshift bowl/tray out of the bag. It helps with some messes but my kids still don't know how to get the bag after I got it to make it easier to carry the fries out of the car avoiding the mess and each kid to themselves take responsibility for your own fries. . The grip is strong. And it fits quite nicely in a large container of McD's fries. The box protrudes further than the handle. But I don't mind much. It fits perfectly in my baby seat's cup holder.
