Hot glue melted the tongue.
I applied hot glue to the "glue tab" according to the instructions. I then placed the tongue covered in glue over the dent. It seemed to work as it stuck. After the specified waiting time, I pulled out the tab with a puller. It fell immediately. The glue has dissolved the tongue. I had to remove the glue and melted plastic.
