I wanted a simple, no-frills hydration pack that was inexpensive. It filled the bill. Contrary to other reviews I had no problems with leaks. I think you just need to know how to tightly close the connections. Please note that there is only one closed compartment and this is the same compartment that contains the water reservoir. Even when the water is full, a few small items fit in the bag, but this isn't the kind of backpack you can carry around with more than a t-shirt and a snack in the closed compartment. There are also two small mesh pockets on the sides. Conclusion: Good value for money if you need a small, basic hydration pack for day trips.
