I bought this to look after my dog when I first started working full time and it turned out to be the perfect solution for both of us! Support for Wi-Fi with a frequency of 5 GHz and other options related to it were the main motivators for me. Setting up the Wi-Fi was a breeze - it was so easy and quick that I didn't have to use the setup guide at all. I love the wide viewing angle to see the whole room and the video quality is fantastic - Full HD, crisp and clear. Night mode is also good when I'm not at home or late. I really appreciate the two way audio to be able to tell my pup to get off the couch or just call him to drop the treat. I usually send him treats as a reward for good behavior and quick learning! You can change the throwing distance of the treat for more fun, and this works with large brands of treats so you don't feel restricted or alarmed if you need to change your pup's diet. Other times I just set it to auto-litter so it gets treats throughout the day and I only check it when I get a pet activity alert. I signed up for Petcube Care for the Auto Record feature - it helps a lot when I'm driving or busy at work and can't check it right away. Then I can go back to the history of the video and see what he was up to. Once I managed to catch him eating a piece of gum I accidentally left on the table. I took him straight to the vet - luckily he's fine you bastard. While this may not seem necessary to some, having peace of mind when you're away is very helpful and I believe it can be a lifesaver as well. Built-in Alexa is a nice bonus! This is optional but can be very handy - you can ask them to treat your pet instead of you, or look up recipes for awesome dog treats. It looked exactly like the pictures and the packaging was brand new and beautiful. I set the device up late at night and had a couple of treat tolerance questions which I decided to contact support for and was pleased with a very quick and clear response even though it was getting late.
