Very soft! It's really light, plush stuff. It's also quite large (47 inches by 47 inches), perfect for snuggling. The text on the duvet is large and clearly printed so it is easy to read in the photos. This is definitely the blanket you want for a baby photo shoot. A pacifier blanket is also a nice addition to the set! It has a handy pocket for the pacifier when not in use to keep it from dangling or dragging. It's made of muslin that feels strong and stretchy!
