Does the job and feels well built

We definitely put this light to good use when checking for pet stains on carpets after adopting a second kitten who is easily stressed. It hasn't broken and the bulb is as bright as day one. It's only really useful at night or in a very dark room, which is to be expected. I'm taking off a star because I think it could be a little brighter. If you're torn between this and something prettier or more expensive, get this one. It's simple, durable, and gets the job done with no frills.
