The instructions for positioning this glass front shadow box frame are very confusing and are not included (unless I somehow missed it). You must first remove the hidden insert in the frame, then put the glass on the front, and then put the insert back. After that, everything works fine - unless the element you put in the shadow box isn't the same size as the box. In this case the insert will not snap back into place, in which case you will not be able to reset it. Make sure the item you are framing is SMALLER than the frame size so you have room to put the insert back into position supported by the back. I also had an issue that others noticed that one of the flex pins that attaches the back to the frame came loose from the frame. I have enough other pins to hold it together but be very careful when bending the pins so they don't come out. In my case, after talking to the seller, I figured out how to remove the insert and put the glass in place. , but then the inset doesn't come back due to the size of the item I framed (stupidly I chose the exact size of my item's frame). I was able to move it by putting some styrofoam in the slot and putting the back on, but that was a problem. If you have an element to crop that is smaller than the frame size, you don't have this problem.
