My wife is a home cook (she is a professional cook) and has used a Calphalon pot and pan set (as well as some cast iron utensils) for a while. I came across a review of a Granitestone pan on Youtube and showed it to her and she was really impressed (and quite skeptical) by the non-stick properties shown in the review. Just for fun, I bought this dinnerware set for her to try for herself. She was really impressed with how little cleaning was required and they substituted Calphalon as their everyday kitchen wear. When you're done cooking, simply pat dry with a damp paper towel and most of the mess will be gone in no time. Just avoid using very high heat. We still use cast iron for roasting meat and the occasional Calphalon for tricky things where we need really good and even heat dissipation, but for everyday cooking they work great.
