Update: I originally rated this stand 4 stars only to say it was a little more expensive than it should have been. However, just two months after receiving it, the wooden base was deformed and the frames broke off, exposing sharp staples that could injure my budgies. I wash it every day because the metal tray doesn't cover the entire base of the stand and poo/food gets caught between the tray and the wood. I don't soak it and let it dry immediately but this stand doesn't seem designed for daily cleaning which is basically impossible with four budgies as after 24 hours the stand will be covered with droppings/discarded food. Updated rating to two stars because I will be looking for a new stand in a few weeks, which is ridiculous considering the price of the item. First Review: Well built gaming stand and sturdy but I would say a bit pricey for what it is. The wood also smells like cedar, which makes me nervous (because it's poisonous to birds), but my family members think it's not actually cedar. I've added some toys and swings for my budgies and they seem to enjoy it very much. The included food bowls are kinda ugly and small so I decided to just use my own next to them on her cage. It was also difficult to assemble as it came with no instructions and I had to use the photo on the Amazon listing to do this.
