Real nice quality hooks. Smooth and well-sanded. The problem.which I suppose I can blame on myself for not reading the product description well enough.the sizes range from American 15 to 3.But there's no size 5. Which is the size I need, having lost the size 5 hook I used to have. I could have ordered a size 5 hook by itself, and probably should have, but I do like having an extra set for when I'm doing multiple projects. So I bought the entire set.Intending to give a scathing review, I made sure to read the product description first, and yes.size 5 is missing from the list.So. anyone looking for a complete set of crochet hooks, be aware that you won't receive a size 5 (size "F" in letter sizing).I'm keeping it and ordering a single crochet hook in the size I need.PS.just wanted to mention to anyone having an issue with the hooks not being smooth.I have another set of bamboo hooks from some years back that were not quite as smooth as this set is. What I did with those was to crumple up a small sheet of waxed paper and rub the working end of the hook with it (about half way up toward the other end). It coated the hook nicely and made it easier to use until the hook developed its own patina from use. If the hook has a larger splinter sticking out, it can be sanded lightly with a VERY fine sandpaper before being rubbed with the waxed paper. I prefer wood and bamboo knitting needles and crochet hooks,and have used this method on all of them.
