I've used it quite a lot now, I've transferred tens and tens of gigabytes of data back and forth from this flash drive, which is attached to the back at this stage. my computer to a USB-A 3.2 port. I wish I could understand how manufacturers can make USB sticks so fast when, to be honest, the vast majority of USB sticks aren't even 25% faster. And I'm talking about actual use of data transfer back and forth. I currently carry these in my travel bag and store them encrypted with BitLocker along with my archive of work emails and personal data so I can access years of email when I travel. This often happens at work when I need to review things from the past, and it always seems to pop up when I leave the office. I also use it as an upload/transfer point for photos and videos, take and work. I can support data transfer rates from 80 to 120 megabits per second. While this is below the advertised transfer rate standard, I'll just tell you the reality, which is frankly superb. We're talking about a USB stick here! I actually get advertised speeds in tests when using Crystal Disk Mark, so this is without a doubt the real deal. The design of the flash drive itself is a clean, minimalist design. I don't like it, but I definitely don't hate it. I love that it just looks and actually feels like a nice, clean, shiny piece of metal in your hand. The presentation is also excellent in terms of packaging. The lid is very magnetic, so I often just tape it to the side of my laptop or other nearby metal object to keep an eye on it. It's strong enough that once you have the cap on your flash drive, you can stick it to something metallic and it will stay in place easily. It doesn't have holes or anything for a lanyard, so when the cap is in place it's just a smooth, rectangular and angled piece of metal. Really really cool, just a little harder to track if you're the type who likes to loop your flash drive through with shoelaces etc. All in all I highly recommend this and the only negative I have to honestly tell you is when you are transferring large amounts of data to and from this device it gets very hot. I say it in a way that makes you wonder if you'll burn your fingers. I'm not sure if it matters much, but it's a reality I've encountered many times at this point. Great flash drive, wish I had one of those 512GB right now!
