Cons: * Not suitable for long-distance shooting. This only gives the best results when the recording device is about a foot away from the source * The quality of the built-in speaker is terrible * The glossy finish makes it look a little nice, but is a major drawback when it comes to the recording factor * The retractable USB is a welcome addition, but at the same time the large surface area of the recorder does not allow connection to the USB port in some cases. it happened to me I tried to connect it to my laptop but it didn't work. So, to sum up all the facts, if you're getting this for recording one-on-one interviews or if you want to use it as a replacement for a handheld microphone, then it's perfect.
