I advise you to examine your new sandals carefully. It seems some styles/sizes have changed. I had this exact pair of sandals (black and gray 8M with purple inserts, bought about 18 months ago) but had to be replaced (sandals were fine but puppy was chewing). The replacement is at least 0.75 inches shorter and has a different, sharper toe curve that is far less comfortable and effectively narrows the toe box. On the other hand, the 8M "Simply Taupe", which was ordered as a replacement at the same time, still fits like the old sandal and has the same or almost identical dimensions. For reference, I also have a burgundy pair of "Tirra" style Tevas, size 8M, and they also come in other sizes than the black/grey 8M replacement, but fit "Simply Taupe" 8M.
