I love this little radio, I can download my podcasts to SD card and listen without headphones. When it's off, it saves the point you heard and continues to work when saved. The sound quality is pretty poor, but the compactness of the device more than makes up for it, I can toss it in my bag and forget it's there. The radio appears to be well made, I hope it will last for many years, but to be honest it's as cheap as time will tell. me, but that's not a problem as I already have an 18650 battery charger, so I carry one or two fully charged ones with me when I need them. Basically I listen to it on my desk and keep it charged via USB and yes it plays from the SD card while charging via USB. One thing I couldn't do was switch to SD card to download files while on the radio, I had to use a card reader to download files. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to remove and add each time it was connected. For radio use it would be nice if the numbers on the front could add channels to memory but they are only for frequency entry. . One annoyance is that setting the radio mode defaults to 760 instead of the last used channel, which doesn't really matter since that's what 99% of the time is used for content on the SD card.
