I thought it would be like the regular jewelry cleaning cloths that I buy that really clean the silver from tarnishing on my pieces. It is nothing more than a jewelry cleaning cloth. It's a fabric that may stain some, but it won't remove tarnish or anything else from dirty jewelry. I found them completely useless. I gave them to my girlfriend as rags I think. Don't make the same mistake I did and buy them thinking you're buying a jewelry cleaning cloth. They can be good for buffing, but not for deep or even minimal cleaning. As a rule, good original products that immediately remove tarnish from silver are yellow and blue. BLUE OUTER LAYER AND YELLOW FABRIC INSIDE. They come in a variety of colors, but if you go for blue and yellow, you can't go wrong. Thank you
