Review on 🔋 BLACK+DECKER HHVI320JR02 Cordless Dustbuster Vacuum Cleaner by Jackie Quimby

A year ago when I first got this I would have given it an excellent rating. It worked fine for about 6 months, then the battery suddenly stopped holding a charge for more than 1-2 minutes at a time. I followed all the instructions on how to charge properly and it doesn't matter. After 6 months, performance dropped sharply. Despite regular maintenance (regular filter change, detergent, charging according to the manufacturer's instructions), the suction power has dropped by half compared to the original, even clumps of fallen pet hair, small dirt, crumbs, etc. At this point 13 months after purchase, I'm ready to put it in to throw out the trash and look for a new brand. This week it decided to stop 10 seconds or less after turning on the power (see video posted by another reviewer, exact same issue). Too many bad reviews for B&D's latest portable cordless vacuums. I am so disappointed as I did a lot of research initially and found that this model performed better than many other models from this brand. It turned out to be a failure and a waste of money. WILL NOT recommend this brand or model to friends or family and I personally know several others who have had the same issues with this particular model. I'm not sure where all the positive feedback is coming from, but I'm hoping these folks will provide an honest update in 6-8 months.
