I've used it on two projects. Illuminated boom microphone. This thing broke. It wasn't until my second project that it could support the weight of a normal setup and broke. The upper part in the shape of the letter "Y" broke off the lower metal rod. That's when I noticed it was welded in two tiny spots, so it obviously broke off. Bad material or at least welding.
