Review on Wi-Fi adapter TP-LINK TL-WN822N, white by Wiktor Uhlig ᠌

Average purchase, there is something to complain about.

Before that, I used the TL-727 for several years, and recently it suddenly warmed up out of the blue, smoked and burned out. Instead, I bought this model and somehow I don’t observe the joy of buying. The box is beautiful, high-quality, everything is also cool packed inside, but the adapter itself . I'll start with what immediately caught my eye: it stinks of China out of the box, after I took the adapter in my hands I heard that something was rattling in it, but also a control shot: when I connected the cable to the adapter socket, I noticed that it was all hanging out. Then I connected the adapter to the PC, installed the drivers and found that it catches the connection worse than my burnt 727 and ping is higher. My 727 caught all divisions stably, since my router is literally across the wall, and this one seems to catch all divisions at idle, but under load the connection sags to 3-4, and there were no such problems with the old adapter, although it cost two times cheaper. In general, I’m very upset and from whom, from whom, but I didn’t expect such a setup from TP Linka, because I constantly use their products, but now I have to look for some other manufacturer.

Pros
  • Packing as well as the fact that the adapter is connected to the PC with a cable
Cons
  • Build quality and connectivity.
