I hesitated to spend money on this jacket. My son needed a raincoat asap and I ordered one hoping it would be everything he claims it would be. That! My son loves that it's as cozy as a sweatshirt and keeps him dry (outside in the drizzle all day) and warm. I've washed it now and it's still in great shape. This will officially be my go-to fall coat for kids. You no longer need to buy an autumn/spring coat and a separate raincoat. I read the sizing reviews and went for an exact size as it was mentioned that they can be large. I thought it would be nice if it was bigger so he could have it for more than one season. It fits perfectly (not big) and looks more stylish than you might think. If you plan to have it for two years, buy a slightly larger size as I expect to have to buy a larger size next year.
