This is by far one of the coolest toys/beds we've gotten for our cat. He's already obsessed with it. He loves the cardboard scratching post inside and loves that he can hide and sleep in it too. Now he is only 5 months old but big enough for an adult cat. It is made of durable felted wool that feels very durable. As you can see from the photos, he's already decided he likes to chew on it. I was a little afraid it would be difficult to assemble, but it is not at all. It's pretty obvious when you unfold it how it contracts and fills the other valves. I've attached a photo of half assembled. I think you could fold it all up and then stick a cardboard scraper in, but I think it's probably easiest to lift half the valves up and then put them back down. It's also very cute, so I don't mind having it on the living room floor. Definitely recommend this one.
