worked great on my 2004 chevy truck
i put them on my 2004 chevy truck that had fender flares but they kept working and worked great right over the fender flares and all , which I used to fasten them. there were plastic dowels and I've been using them for about a month now with no problems, the plastic dowels have held and done a good job.
