This dustpan and brush is portable, compact and lightweight. measures 6-1/8 inches high, widest is approximately 6-3/4 inches, and depth is approximately 1-3/4 inches. The edge of the shovel is made of rubber. When I place the dustpan on the surface, the edge is flush with the surface. I like when I sweep the dirt/dust into the dustpan, it gets into the dustpan with minimal residue under the gray rubber edge. The brush handle has a 3 -5/8 hole" x 2-3/4". This is enough for each member of our family (small or big hands) to easily slide their hands through the hole to get a handle to sweep up the dirt. The brush also has a rubber edge that does a good job of removing dirt from small cracks in surfaces (countertops, hardwood floors, etc.). Numerous bristles are good for sweeping dirt/debris. Overall, these brushes and dustpans do well for our cleaning and vacuuming needs.
