Reliable for multigrain rice, high quality with some quibbles

My 12 year old neurotummy Zojirushi died and I bought this Cuckoo rice cooker to replace him in January 2018. It still works great, used almost daily. Compared to the Zoji, this one doesn't have an overflow of steamed rice water from the top vent like my old Zoji, and it also cooks japgokbap (ratio of 1:3 mixed grains to regular rice) better. - I soak the blended grains for 30 minutes before putting them in the oven and they come out perfectly cooked every time in blended brown rice mode. If you've eaten Korean food at a restaurant and are wondering what that slightly purple rice is with other things, it's Japgokbap and you can buy mixed grain packets to make your white rice a healthier/fiber option. are high quality - nothing creaks or crooked, and it doesn't feel cheap. It is made in Korea, which may matter to some as many zoji are now made in China with questionable quality. A few big cons that bother me: The black pan has no handles or any structure to prevent movement, so mixing rice will cause the pan to rotate/move around the bottom which will scratch the surface of the pan can. The Zoji I had had handles that prevented this from happening. Because it is a smart rice cooker, cleaning requires many small parts (ventilation pipe + lid, rear water separator, detachable top lid, etc.) to clean, which takes 10 minutes. Minutes longer than a cheap rice cooker with no settings (just the lid and pot). It can be annoying when you are busy, especially if you cook rice every day. Otherwise I am very satisfied with my purchase. In the future I would consider buying one of the more expensive pressure cookers from Cuckoos but for now this one satisfies my family's needs.
