Definitely recommend to buy, but only to those who really love games (and understand that they cost money). There are a lot of good games, in spite of everything, on the Vita, and the button control is insanely convenient compared to smartphones / tablets. Pros: - Very thin and light. - Sticks! Real Sticks! As well as almost a complete set of buttons of a standard gamepad. Touch control on smartphones has not yet been compared in accuracy and convenience with the console. - Great games. A lot of people complain that "there are no games" and I don't really understand why. Borderlands, Child of Light, Tearaway, super cool PS2 games (Persona, MGS, Final Fantasy X&X-2) - it's great to be able to play those games and not just another fun farm with donations. - Holds a charge for a long time. - Convenient game store. - You can turn off the console at any time, and then continue playing from the same place! On phones, there is always a chance that the application with the game will be unloaded from memory, and something will not be saved, or you will have to download the game again. There is no such problem here, and this is very cool. Cons below: - Whatever one may say, the console needs a cover: if you put it in your pocket as it is, it's very scary for the sticks :( - Sony will no longer release big games on this console. And very in vain. - Expensive memory card (it comes with a rather small one, and a 64 GB card costs almost as much as the console itself).
