Honest Free Review: Much better than expected. Really very comfortable and of course perfect for trackdays and sims. Context: I follow days, karts and simulators. I am very sensitive to uncomfortable shoes. Every day I wear comfortable and comfortable running shoes with matching insoles. I hate wearing flat Vans or Converse. These Sparco Race 2 are very comfortable. It's like a hollow shell and the shoe doesn't really put pressure on the foot on all surfaces. Difficult to explain. They are stiff but comfortable like a bucket seat. I don't understand why they are so comfortable and don't hurt my feet when I walk in them like converse or vans. At first I wasn't sure about the high peak. Which does not concern me. But the high top doesn't prevent you from bending your foot forward to propel the pedals. There's an elastic pad behind your ankle that won't chafe your skin as long as you're wearing tube socks - I've never worn tube socks before but they're worth it in this app. I suggest Nike cushioning models. The laces are too long, but I just double-knot them and tuck them into the lacing area. The size was just right for me. 9.5 usually suits me, but Sparco 10 feels the same as 10.
