I bought these glasses for my son who is 8 years old and plays football in the fall (usually in the evening when the sun is at its best and you can't see anything). He gets migraines if he doesn't protect his light blue eyes, which is why his other glasses keep slipping off (he's fiddling with them otherwise). These glasses are dark enough to be worn in bright sunlight and fit perfectly in the 7-10 range. The elastic band doesn't bother you, but doesn't let the glasses slip off. Best of all, I ATTACKED them and they just bowed and went about their business as usual. If he had been hit in the face with a ball or an elbow, it would still have hurt, but his glasses wouldn't have broken, and he most likely would have walked away with a bruise instead of cuts and wounds. Some judges don't allow them, but if they do, these goggles are perfect. We'll be using them for baseball in the spring and swimming in the pool in the summer! Perfect fit, perfect for working out and most importantly he likes them so he will wear them!
